The Life of Harriet Tubman (2020)

Harriet Tubman Center for Expanded Curatorial Practice students worked with Portland-based artist, Melanie Stevens, to create a timeline about Harriet Tubman’s life for installation at the school. They participated in a workshop with Melanie and commissioned her to illustrate twenty key events in Tubman’s life. This large-scale vinyl work will be installed in the school’s entry hallway.
