Visiting Artist Lecture Series: Patricia Vázquez Gómez

Please join us for the 2019-2020 KSMoCA Visiting Artist Lecture Series, which is open to members of the public and students at Dr. MLK Jr School. The lecture will take place in the school library.

Patricia Vázquez Gómez works and lives between the ancient Tenochtitlán and the unceded, occupied, stolen and colonized lands of the Chinook, Clackamas, Multnomah and other Indigenous peoples. She likes working with all kinds of people in all kinds of art, like painting, printmaking, videos, exhibitions, music and other projects. She finds exciting to put art in places where people can find it while they are going about their own lives and to investigate how we treat each other and why.
